The winner of Miss Spain 2013, Patricia Yurena Rodríguez, has revealed that she is gay. In this Instagram picture she snapped of her and her girlfriend, DJ and musician Vanessa Cortes, she simply captioned it "Romeo and Julliet" (sic).
Rodriguez told Spanish newspaper La Opinión de Tenerife "I don't regret what I did and I did it because I'm happy about what's going on in my life". She said that her posting the picture was spontaneous and has also thanked fans for their love and support.
