'It Does Get Better' Singer on Tour

Our favourite equine singer embarks on a UK tour.

The iconic Scottish female singer-songwriter Horse has had numerous tours over her twenty-eight years in the music industry, travelling around the world, even touring with the highly acclaimed Tina Turner and blues legend BB King.

Her moving music has secured several record chart hits in Europe. Her writing is influenced by the issues that she faced growing up in Lanark as a gay teenager, using it as an escape from the homophobia she faced. She took part in the 2012 charity single ‘It Does Get Better’ created by The L Project, written in response to the rising rates of suicide in LGBT teenagers and helping to raise money for LGBT charities.

Horse has been described by Q as “one of the finest voices of modern times, soul and intelligence combined” with comparisons drawn between her and such singers as Annie Lennox and Alison Moyet.

She tours the UK this October, playing with her band a mixture of new songs and old favourites from her extensive discography.
