TLC is the brand new monthly girl’s night starting on the fifth of April. Now this is from the team that curated the sold out night in Scala G3:PM so can you imagine the amazing chaos this will be. Unleashing filth and fury upon the gay community this night is set to be one of the biggest parties to hit Friday nights in Soho since lesbians began.
The launch night opens its doors in the newly refurbished GREEN CARNATION on Greek St at 9pm and you can party right through until three. There are two floors, with enough room for some serious bopping, shaking and swaying and seats, corners and staircases galore for the sipping and kissing.
Hosted by the ubiquitous “dyke about town” DJ Sandra D (Ruby Tuesdays, Miss-Shapes) and Lydia B (After Skool Klub, BITE) the night will focus on good music, cheap drinks at just £2.50 for a house spirit and mixer, and will be packed wall to wall with girls.
The Ground Floor will be the chart room. On the opening night DJ Sandra D will be joined by MDMX and Valeric to unleash the pop madness. It’s a world of Rhianna, Pink, Katy Perry and Beyonce. Because Girls do in fact, run the world. And of course Britney. Everyone loves a bit of Britney bitch. It will be a mixture of chart climbing, swagger jaggering and sing along songs.
In the basement, Lydia B will be joined by Joe Grohl and various guests to cover the Indie electro, techno, and the disco. Featuring artists like The Knife, Arcade Fire, Jessie Ware and Crystal Castles it will be an end to dated indie discos and get your dancing feet and disco pants shimmering.
The entry is £7 or £5 with a flyer or facebook event attendance and there’s a free shot for the first 100 through the door. Male guests are welcome.
