TV: Billie Piper to star in lesbian role in new BBC Drama

Billie Piper has been cast in one of the central role's of BBC's new drama, True Love.

Piper will star as a teacher who falls in love with one of her pupils. The five part series follows a different character each episode and their quest to find love.

True Love features five overlapping love stories, set in the small town of Margate, Kent. Piper, 29, plays the role of Holly, a teacher trapped in an unhappy relationship, who succumbs to the advances of a pupil, Skins star Kaya Scodelario.

The pair are seen sharing a series of passionate kisses as well as a number of bed scenes.

The episode will be screened on Tuesday at 10:35pm.
