LGBT outreach project Schools Out held a well-attended conference at London’s Drill Hall theatre on 6 February.

Held as part of LGBT History Month, the event drew in over 100 people. Attendees had the chance to hear speakers from charities including Barnardos, the NSPCC and the Albert Kennedy Trust, see the launch of short film ‘The Heterophobia Project’, and question a panel of young people about their experiences of rural LGBT life. There were also workshops on how to educate young people about LGBT issues.
