g3 magazine named ‘Publication of the Year’ |

 Square Peg Media are delighted to announce that g3 magazine, the UK’s leading monthly glossy for lesbians and bisexual women, has been named as Stonewall Publication of the Year 2009, beating The Times and Metro to first place.
In a glittering award ceremony at London’s stunning Victoria and Albert Museum, master of ceremonies Gok Wan presented the award to publishers Sarah Garrett and Linda Riley amid tumultuous applause from the a-list audience, which included MPs Angela Eagle, Ben Bradshaw and Diane Abbott, comedian Sue Perkins, actor Patrick Stewart, journalist Julie Bindel and BBC Radio 4 Today presenter Evan Davis.
Described as "revolutionary" by Stonewall chief executive Ben Summerskill, g3 boasts 140,000 readers and is part of the same publishing stable as Out in the City, Proud! magazine, Out at Work magazine and the Diversity Careers Show. Its winning mix of fashion, politics, humour and controversy ensures an ever growing and fiercely loyal readership.
