The Drill Hall Darlings are The Drill Hall's very successful lesbian community theatre troupe.
This term they will be exploring the themes of contemporary lesbian life, love and longing - and they're inviting you to join them!
What is it like to live as a lesbian now we have 'equality'? Are the clubs better? Is it easier to go on dates? Are civil partnerships celebrations a blast? Have we got the equality we fought for? What happened to political activism?
Through improvisation, free association writing exercises and other theatre and performance techniques each workshop participant will create at least one three-minute (true) tale to perform at the end of the eight-week course.
This project will lead to two performances in Drill Hall 2 on Sunday 10 April.
