6.01.12 Chapstick, Peace and Recovery
It’s Friday again! And for our first blog of 2012 we have, well… not-very-much to say, having spent the last 4 days in recovery from a 3-day-long New Year’s Eve party.
Oh dear. But getting back into the swing of it at g3 HQ has been particularly pleasant this month, with Heather Peace guest editing the February lurve issue. She has some really great ideas, which we can’t wait for you guys to read. From love to heartbreak, perhaps the biggest celeb news of 2012 so far is that Katy Perry is now free to kiss more girls and like it, after her recent divorce proceedings from Russell Brand were revealed. Don’t worry Katy, we have ample amounts of cherry chapstick if you need consoling.

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, you’re either more of a woman than we are or you didn’t party hard enough at New Years. Make up for it by popping along to Candy Bar or Popstarz tonight for regular Friday madness, or Rumours in east London tomorrow, and remember to have a jagerbomb for us.
If Candy Bar is your favourite haunt, or you prefer Chinatown’s Ku Bar, then let us know.
Our annual g3 Readers’ Awards have launched again and we want to hear from you. What was your favourite festival last year? Gay Icon? Charity? Vote now, and you could even be in with the chance of winning an iPad, woo!

Don’t forget, if you’re looking for a more chilled weekend, you can still sign up for a free Tastecard, which gets you half price food in a whole host of restaurants across the uk. Get yours here: tastecard.co.uk/trial/g3
Until next week, we leave you with this:
