TV: X Factor girls are doing it for themselves (and us!)
X Factor hopeful Jade Ellis has not only revealed that she bats for our team, but that her and partner Heba are raising Ellis' daughter Caiden as a family. The mother-of-one from London has also landed the bombshell that she previously dated X Factor successful, Marvin Humes from JLS and has a massive crush on Nicole Scherzinger. Jade, who is in a long term relationship with Heba, has said that it was not until after the birth of her daughter Caiden that she came to terms with her sexuality and the two have been raising the child ever since with full support from the Caiden's father. On Marvin Hume, Jade has said she never thinks about what could have been, as she's always known she didn't like boys and their relationship was 'long distance' (across the classroom) as they were both too shy to talk to each other and used to get their friends to relay messages.
This year, X Factor have been lucky enough to have Lucy Spraggan gracing their presence. A singer-songwriter with a cheeky writing style who has taken the UK by storm after her initial performance during the audition stages. Her songs rocketed through the itunes charts following her audition and soon news of her being a lesbian started spreading like wild fire. The Kent-born singer describes her music as A-FLOP, a mix of acoustic, folk and hip hop and is supporting Joan Armatrading at the Indigo O2 in December.
