Premier Inn goes 'Out' for Laces

The hotel chain, Premier Inn, has joined a growing number of brands pledging support for Stonewall's Laces campaign. The charity has sent rainbow coloured laces to every professional player in the UK, which includes youth and women’s teams, along with 650 MPs and leading political figures for this weekend (13th-14th September).
Russell Braterman, Premier Inn brand marketing director, said: "Whether it's welcoming the guests who stay with us, or the staff we employ, Premier Inn is fully committed to equal opportunities. We'll never discriminate because of age, sex, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion or belief, disability, gender reassignment, sexual orientation or civil partnership."
Metro paper today (Monday 8th) has filled all it's advertising space today with brands supporting the #RainbowLaces campaign. An industry first. Other brands include BT Broadband / BT Sport, PlayStation, Sega, Starbucks, Relish Broadband, KLM, Heineken, Jersey Tourism, Lastminute.com, Dr Martens, Fiat and Pepsico. Paddy Power are also involved with a spokesperson adding "We love football but it needs a good kick up the ass."
