Australia’s ‘Queen of Sass’ has touched down in London

Beccy-ColeMulti-award winning singer/songwriter, Beccy Cole, is bringing her songs and talent to London for the very first time.

With a 23 year music career under her belt, the three-time gold record earner is leaving her country, temporarily of course, to take the stage at London’s Bush Hall on October 1.

She is best known for her high-energy live shows that take an audience on a journey through laugher and tears, and we’re hoping she’ll have brought that energy with her when she opens for Horse McDonald.

Beccy boasts a plethora of awards; including nine Golden Guitar Awards, 14 Australian Country Chart #1 singles, seven songwriting awards, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

As if that wasn’t enough, Beccy has been nominated at the Australian Honour Awards for the “Best Arts and Entertainment” Award which recognises significant contribution to the LGBTQI community.

Aside from her musical talents, Beccy became the only out and proud performer in her genre in 2012 where she spoke openly about her sexuality in the ABC televised documentary Australian Story.

Since then, she has become an important role model for the LGBT community, especially in rural Australia where her popularity is enormous.

In 2013, Beccy and her partner, Libby O’Donovan, became the first same-sex couple to walk the red carpet at the prestigious Gold Guitar Awards.

This year Beccy released her much anticipated autobiography ‘Poster Girl’.
