Lush and All Out have joined forces to campaign for LGBT equality and aim to raise £250,000 to support global activists.
Lush are introducing a new limited edition product, aptly named Love soap (£4 for a 120g bar) – a gold bar scented with Lush's Love fragrance, which will be in 825 shops across the world.
The soap will be in-store from 25 June to 5 July and customers are encouraged to post selfies with the campaign's fundraising product telling the world why they think #GayIsOK.
Alessandro Commisso, from Lush, comments: "Our staff and our customers feel very passionate about LGBT issues – and the time has come to make a global statement. Gay rights are not an option: they're basic human rights."
By purchasing this soap, you are supporting grassroots LGBT groups fighting daily for equality all over the world.
This isn't the first time that Lush has raised awareness for global gay rights, in 2013 and 2014 they launched the Sign Of Love campaign. #GayIsOK is just the next step in their commitment towards equality.
Out of the £250,000 hoping to be raised, £50,000 will be donated outright to All Out for their worldwide campaigning efforts. The rest will go into a fund, from which Lush will be inviting LGBT groups to apply for grants of up to £10,000, via All Out's website.
All Out Executive Director, Andre Banks, said: "All Out's 2.2 million members organize every day to build a world where no person has to sacrifice their freedom or dignity because of who they are or who they love. Thanks to Lush, we'll make sure that millions more know about this human rights crisis."
The #GayIsOK campaign will kick off with a 24 hour marathon of activities in Lush shops around the world.
